What makes a phone battery explode - in simpler terms

And I guess you have surfed the net trying to understand what exactly caused it to explode.
Samsung say it was exploding because the battery didn't fit well. And of course they promised that it will never happen again. We don't know if that's true.

But have you ever wondered why other mobile phones also explode - especially those running on Android?
I have read through a number of blogs that have explained the reason behind it but for most of them I had to use a dictionary or have an extra tab open for me to google exactly what they were saying because it's just has too much technical language.
But today I stumbled onto a security company which explains it in way simpler terms and according to them, this is what causes a phone to explode:
WHAT MAKES AN ANDROID PHONE EXPLODE LIKE A BOMB AND KILL
An Android chips and its Battery(cell ) when 'ON' is a Bomb. A big bomb like a military grenade that can explode to kill someone using it and kill persons within a radius of 2meters from the phone.

When does Android Explosion occur ?
1. When the Cell phone is over charged for too long , expansion begins. If you overcharge also too often, Expansion will one day reach a critical point, but you may not know when this maximum has been reached. At which point it explodes.
2. Explosion occurs spontaneously, immediately an Android cell comes into contact Petroleum fumes or Cooking gas fumes.
These fumes have the same electrical charge as the Android cells . And you know what that means in magnetism.
Physics tells us that Like poles (p+ and q+) repel or explode.

Lessons:
1. Avoid going to a Gas (Fuel) station with your Smart phone "ON".
Turn it off, make sure it is not "ON" before you get to a gas station.

2. Do not sit in a Kitchen with your Smart phone, when cooking with a gas cylinder.
Danger !!!
Both the cylinder and Android battery may explode simultaneously. They have the same charge.

3. Do not leave the phone to charge overnight and go to sleep. Always remove the charger when you cannot monitor if it is full to avoid overcharging.
